Bulldogs Compete at FlashRock
It was a tough day for the Girls' Cross Country team as they made their way to Carmel on Saturday and ran in the wet conditions against a number of the top teams in the State, finishing in 22nd place. Freshman Gabby Bische had a nice day as she continued to show improvement and stepped up into the top spot for the team, finishing as the #1 runner in a time of 21:40. She was followed by Brianna Channon, Kierstyn U'Ren, Grace Esterline, and Olivia Zoog to round out the top 5.
In the JV race the girls finished 16th out of 28 teams. Freshman Madison Valentine and Senior Mackenzie Vondersaar crossed the line side by as the team's top 2 runners. Anna Boone, Michaela Barrett, and Caroline Johnson rounded out the scoring as top 5 runners for the team with Alli Kent and Lily Cohen just seconds behind. The team will look to grab some wins as they travel to Shelbyville on Saturday.
