Girls' XC Competes at NHS Hokum Karem

The Girls Cross Country team put in a nice performance Saturday at the Noblesville Hokum Karem. In the varsity relay race Emily Truax and Faye Jessup lead the way completing the 6 miles in 37:44 and finishing 9th place. Next through the chute were Allison Hering and Gabby Bische grabbing a medal in 20th place at 39:41. Olivia Zoog ran her best mile ever and had a great race with partner Grace Esterline to finish the scoring in 23rd place with a time of 41:08. The girls will travel to Cascade on Tuesday to compete at the Country Meet.

While the JV race was not officially scored the team showed off their growing depth as several girls showed big improvements. The team's freshman runners all had great races and continued to cut their time down. Those runners included Morgan Spears, Michaela Barrett, Cece Damler, and Madison Valentine. Great job to all the girls!
