Girls' Swim/Dive Wins Over Quakers

The Lady Bulldogs added yet another win to their season tonight over Plainfield.
The team of junior Maria Gutzweiler, sophomore Leah Kingery, sophomore Annika Schaekel and junior Rory Smith started off the meet with 2nd place in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:57.41. The team of junior Maria Scholz, senior Joley Clodfelter, senior Julia Stonebreaker and junior Ella Hart came in 3rd with a time of 1:59.14.
Senior Elise Dahlke won the 200 Free with a time of 2:00.05 and the 100 Free with at time of 55.80. Junior Smith won the 200 IM with a time of 2:17.60 and sophomore Schaekel came in 3rd with a time of 2:20.36.
Sophomore Margaret Miller and junior Gutzweiler clutched the top two spots in the 50 Free with times of 25.47 and 25.82. Miller also came in 3rd in the 100 Free with a time of 55.93. Sophomore Schaekel came in 2nd in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:03.28.
Sophomore Erin Haycox took 1st in the 500 Free with a time of 5:31.52, followed closely by junior Ella Wilson with a time of 5:31.62 who dropped 5.8 seconds on her swim.
In the 200 Free, the relay team of senior Dahlke, junior Gutzweiler, senior Stonebraker and sophomore M. Miller won with a time of 1:43.28.
Junior Gutzweiler won the 100 Back with a time of 1:04.72 and junior Scholz came in 3rd with a time of 1:06.19.
In the 100 Breast, senior Clodefelter came in 2nd with a time of 1:12.81, senior Courtney Kreilein took 3rd with 1:13.47 and sophomore Kingery came in 4th with a time of 1:14.40.
The Dogs took the event of the night, the 400 Free Relay, with the team of sophomore M. Miller, junior Smith, sophomore Schaekel and senior Dahlke came in 1st with a time of 3:45.22.
Senior Hannah Traux came in 2nd in diving with a score of 245.45. Junior Emma Wolf came in 3rd with a 239.00 and senior Maya Leman came in 5th with 221.15.
The Bulldogs are back on Saturday, Jan. 18 at Noblesville at 10 AM.
