Leman and Wolf Head to State for Diving

Senior Maya Leman and junior Emma Wolf are heading to State this Saturday after placing in the top 8 at Regionals. Senior Halle Brandt placed 15th with a score of 222.25 and will not be continuing on. 

Senior Leman gave a phenomenal performance and placed 3rd out of 20 divers in the regional. She ended with a score of 407.60. 

Junior Wolf also dazzled and came in a close 5th with a score of 404.05.

Leman and Wolf will join their swimming teammates at the State meet on Saturday, Feb. 15 at IU Natatorium at IUPUI. Diving will begin at 9 a.m. 

According to the IHSAA website, "All diving will take place on Saturday with the top 20 of 32 competitors advancing from the prelims to the semis after five dives each. After three dives each in the semis, the top 16 will advance to the final round for another three dives each." 

Tickets for the State meet are $8 and all competition will be streamed live at IHSAAtv.org.
