Girls' Swim/Dive Fights for Win vs. Noblesville

The Dogs fought for a win over Noblesville this Saturday with a close final score of 94-91. 

The relay team of senior Erin Mehringer, senior Joley Clodfelter, senior Julia Stonebraker and senior Elise Dahlke came in 2nd in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:58.29. Coming in 3rd in the event was the team of junior Maria Scholz, sophomore Leah Kingery, sophomore Annika Schaekel and sophomore Erin Haycox with a time of 2:00.63. 

Sophomore Margaret Miller came in 2nd in the 200 Free with a time of 2:02.27, dropping 1.64 seconds and junior Rory Smith came in 4th with a time of 2:07.15. Miller also came in 2nd in the 100 Back with a time of 1:04.70. 

Senior Stonebraker won the 50 Free with a time of 26.50. Sophomore Schaekel came in 3rd with a time of 26.68 and senior Clodfelter came in 4th with a time of 26.98.

Stonebraker also came in 2nd in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:03.75. Junior Smith came in 3rd in the event with a time of 1:06.09 and sophomore Haycox came in 4th with a time of 1:06.66. 

In the 100 Free, senior Clodfelter clutched 1st with a time of 58.06. Sophomore Schaekel came in 2nd with a time of 58.43.

Senior Dahlke won the 500 Free with a time of 5:27.64. In the 200 Free Relay, the team of junior Maria Gutzweiler, sophomore Haycox, sophomore Schaekel and sophomore M. Miller took 1st with a time of 1:43.96. The senior relay team of Mehringer, Clodfelter, Stonebraker and Dahlke came in 3rd with a time of 1:46.15. 

Senior Courtney Kreilein came in 2nd in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:14.64 with sophomore Murphi Crawford coming in 3rd with a time of 1:15.03. 

The relay team of sophomore M. Miller, junior Smith, junior Gutzweiler and senior Dahlke came in 2nd in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:49.51.

In diving, the Dogs clutched the top 3 spots with junior Emma Wolf coming in 1st with a score of 214.25. Senior Hannah Truax came in 2nd with 208.80 and senior Maya Leaman came in 3rd with 181.20. 

The Dogs are back on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Ben Davis at 5:30 PM.
