Girls' Swim/Dive Takes Control at Pike

The Dogs took home a big win over Pike with final scores of 117-68.
In the 200 Medley Relay, the team of junior Maria Gutzweiler, senior Joley Clodfelter, senior Julia Stonebraker and sophomore Margaret Miller came in second with a time of 1:55.17.
Senior Elise Dahlke won the 200 Free with a time of 2:01.54 and came in 2nd in the 100 Free with a time of 58.58. Sophomore Erin Haycox came in 2nd in the 200 Free with a time of 2:07.57 and won the 500 Free with a time of 5:34.38.
In the 200 IM, sophomore Annika Schaekel came in 2nd with a time of 2:18.98, dropping 2.24 seconds. Sophomore M. Miller came in 3rd with a time of 2:23.29, dropping 1.71 seconds and won the 100 Free with a time of 56.49. Junior Gutzweiler came in 2nd in the 50 Free with a time of 26.04 and came in 2nd in the 100 Back with a time of 1:04.72. Sophomore Schaekel won the 100 Fly with a time of 1:01.41 and came in 3rd in the 100 Back with a time of 1:08.05.
Junior Maria Scholz came in 2nd in the 500 Free with a time of 5:39.20. In the 200 Free Relay, the team of senior Dahlke, senior Stonebraker, sophomore Haycox and sophomore M. Miller won with a time of 1:45.23. The team of senior Clodfelter, junior Ella Hart, junior Rory Smith and sophomore Schaekel came in 2nd with a time of 1:50.03.
Sophomore Leah Kingery came in 2nd in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:13.97 and senior Courtney Kreilein came in 3rd with a time of 1:14.26.
The team of junior Gutzweiler, sophomore Haycox, sophomore Scholz and senior Dahlke came in 2nd in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:53.62.
In diving, junior Emma Wolf won with a score of 241.30. Senior Hannah Truax came in 2nd with a score of 240.40 and senior Maya Leaman came in 4th with a score of 204.95.
The Bulldogs are back on Saturday at Floyd Central at 9 AM.
