Girls' Swim/Dive Takes the B&O Rotary Bell

The Bulldogs won the B&O Rotary Bell in their meet vs. Avon tonight with a final score of 131-54. 

The Aquadogs dominated the meet both in swimming and diving. Out of the 12 swimming events, Brownsburg won 8 and took the 3 top spots in diving. 

In the 200 Relay, the team of junior Maria Gutzweiler, senior Joley Clodfelter, senior Julia Stonebraker and sophomore Margaret Miller won with a time of 1:54.84 and the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:42.38. Senior Elise Dahlke won the 200 Free with a time of 2:00.86 and the 100 Free with a time of 56.18. Junior Rory Smith won the 200 IM with a time of 2:16.91, dropping .96 seconds. Sophomore Annika Schaeekel won the 100 Fly with a time of 1:03.40. Sophomore Erin Haycox won the 500 Free with a time of 5:32.75. The relay team of senior Joley Clodfelter, senior Elise Dahlke, sophomore Erin Haycox and junior Rory Smith won the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:52.20, dropping 0.83 seconds. Clodfelter and Dahlke were a triple-winners tonight 

In diving, senior Hannah Truax secured the 1st spot with a score of 252.45, junior Emma Wolf came in 2nd with a score of 234.50, senior Maya Leaman came in 3rd with a score of 219.50. 

The Dogs are back on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the traditional Bulldog Relays. Relays will begin at 11 am at the BHS pool!
