Boys' Soccer falls in final minutes to No. 13 Fishers

By Drew Sandifer

The Brownsburg Boys' Soccer team fell to No. 13 Fishers on Sept. 15, 2-1, at The Pitch in their return to HCC play.

It was a defensive battle throughout the majority of the game as Fishers opened up the scoring in the third minute, but no team scored for the next 62 minutes of game action. Senior Nate Heyen ended that stretch by capitalizing on a penalty kick opportunity in the 69th minute.

Unfortunately for the Dogs, the Tigers would take advantage of a penalty kick opportunity of their own in the 75th minute, sealing the victory for FHS.

Brownsburg's JV team also fell to Fishers, 7-0.

Up next: Both teams will travel to Ben Davis on Sept. 17 to face the Giants.
