Brownsburg and Westfield Play to a Tie

Wednesday night the Bulldogs traveled to take on the Westfield Shamrocks in a conference matchup. In what was a slower start for Brownsburg, the Dogs gained momentum and were able to hold Westfield scoreless in the first half with a 0-0 tie going into halftime. Great defensive play of the first half only allowed the Shamrocks to get off 4 shots. Continuing into the second half, Brownsburg remained tough in the battle and forced Westfield to take more difficult shots. With the last five minutes of the game the Dogs were explosive and were able to create a couple of scoring opportunities that fell short. The game ended in a 0-0 tie, but a great defensive effort from the Dogs allowed for a shutout
