Center Grove Blanks Bulldogs

It was nice to see the energetic Bulldogs back in action again, as I think they have been missing for the last few games. We stepped out on the field with more aggression than usual, even a few opportunities close to their net. Elise Cooke and Ashley Davila worked hard from
the start, causing confusion among their backs. Mackenzie Caron made some great stops to keep us in the game. Katie Brinkers had an outstanding game in the back, protecting our net countless times. An unlucky corner kick resulted in the first goal, and left the score 1-0 Center Grove going into halftime. 

We continued to work hard after the break, but seemed to give Center Grove a few easy opportunities to score.  A PK and several corner kicks later, we were down 4-0. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to answer back. We are back on the road Wednesday taking on conference opponent Westfield.
