Raiders Hand Bulldogs a Loss

We suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Harrison Raiders on Saturday. We played a a very even match throughout the first half. Both teams moved the ball, having a few attempts on goal but keeping the score 0-0 going into halftime. Going into the second half, but seemed to dominate. We kept possession, and had more scoring opportunities. Natalie Parks did a great job taking defenders on 1v1 and looking for crosses. Amanda Dotlich and Elise Cooke worked hard up top, but couldn't get one to go in the back of the net. With 25 seconds to go in the game, Harrison had the ability to put one in and get the win. We take the field again Monday evening at Plainfield.
