Bulldogs vs. Noblesville

Saturday morning was a very wet one. As game time arrived the fields were slick and we were slipping and sliding all over the place.  Noblesville came out hard, scoring in the first eight minutes. We settled down a bit,  slowing down their attack. Before the half, they were only able to score one more. 

The second half was much more physical. Both sides came out a bit more determined. We had a few more opportunities in the attacking third. Ashley Davila had a great match. She worked hard up top; tracking defenders, creating some second chances, and playing in some crosses. Late in the half, Davila played a slotted ball to Amanda Dotlich who was able to take on a Noblesville defender and score. Unfortunately, it was too little too late. The final score was 5-1. We play again Monday evening, at home, against Center Grove.
