Teachers Celebrated at Girls' Soccer

Last night we celebrated some amazing teaches and took on the defending state soccer champs. The first half started out with a mishap in our goal, resulting in a Fishers goal. We needed to wake up and regroup. The rest of the half would be spent doing a lot of defending and forcing us to to be creative in our attack. Mackenzie Caron, our goal keeper, had an outstanding game. She made some huge stops, and kept us alive for majority of the first and second half. Fishers would add another goal to the scoreboard before we took a break for halftime.

The second half showed our determination and will to win. Cayla Crawford and Macey Lee worked extremely well together in the back, staying organized and shutting down several Fishers scoring chances. Although, Elise Cooke and Amanda Dotlich were working hard up top, we just could not find a goal. The final score was 3-0 in Fishers favor. Our next match is Saturday at Noblesville.
