Bulldogs Defeat Danville

We came out ready to play and ready to score on Tuesday evening. Within a few minutes, Elise Cooke knocked a goal in the back of the net to open the flood gates. We continued to control possession for the majority of the first half. Three more Bulldogs would score to give us a large lead! Carrie Lawson nailed a shot near the center circle, Amanda Dotlich put away one, and Jen Barton scored to finish off the half. A bit of disorganization in the second half, allowed the Warriors to add one to the scoreboard. We continued to battle, and regained possession; we moved the ball around the field and looked for ways to be creative. Freshman, Mapuana Stephens, sealed the deal and scored a beautiful goal off of Lawson's corner. We ended the match with a score of 5-1. We hope to continue the scoring and winning streak alive as we play Cathedral tomorrow at 7:00 pm.
