Boys' Basketball Is On A 6 Game Winning Streak

Boys' Basketball Is On A 6 Game Winning Streak

Last Friday night our Varsity Boys Basketball team hosted HCC opponent Lafayette Jeff and prevailed 58-35. With the victory the Dogs finish the season 5-4 in the conference. Our guys jumped out to an early 14-2 lead at the end of first quarter and 30-8 going into halftime. Brownsburg limited their turnovers to just 11 on the night and shot 80% from the free throw line as a team. The Broncos tried to battle back in the second half but could not. K.J. Walton led Brownsburg with 13 points and Xavier Ringo added 10. Martell Pope came off the bench to pitch in 4 points and team leading 7 rebounds.

In a preview of the first round of sectionals next Wednesday, our boys took on Decatur Central Monday night and won their sixth in a row 68-55 in the Varsity Fieldhouse. The Dogs, now 9-8 on the season, put together a great team effort on the defensive end taking 5 charges in a hotly contested, physical affair. Brownsburg also shot it well from the field and beyond the arc on the other end. Trevor Lucas, Gerald Harney, Kenneth Walton and Kyle Thompson were all in double figures. Our bench was tremendous as well outscoring the Hawks 17-5. Come out and support our seniors tonight as Gerald, Ian Good, Martell Pope, Jimmy Mescall, Zach Miller and Sir Golden play their final home game of their BHS careers
