Bulldogs Defeat HCC Foe Harrison

Thursday night the Varsity Boys Basketball team hosted Harrison and once again started the game slowly down 0-9 early and 8-15 at the end of the first quarter. But the Dogs fought back employing their 1-3-1 and trapping man defenses to take a 28-21 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Raiders rallied in the second half cutting Brownsburg's lead to just two points in the final minute. But a great hustle play by Gerald Harney to dive on the floor for the loose ball and two clutch FTs and an offensive rebound "And One" play by Kenneth Walton sealed the deal allowing the Purple and White to hold on for a 55-50 victory. Trevor Lucas led the team with 17 points, 7 key rebounds and 3 steals. Walton had 15 points, 9 caroms, and 4 assists. The boys (7-9, 4-4 in HCC) travel south to Plainfield Tuesday night to take on the Quakers
