Dogs Battle to End But Come up Short to HSE

As promised, the varsity boys' basketball game Friday night at Hamilton Southeastern was a battle. The Dogs' effort was terrific all night long and their multiple defensive schemes kept the Royals attack off balance. BHS trailed HSE by only two heading into the final quarter but their offensive execution failed them in the last few minutes and fell 61-72. K.J. Walton led Brownsburg on the scoreboard with 17 points. Gerald Harney and Kyle Thompson were also in double figures with 14 and 13 respectively. K.T. also did a nice job on the glass with eight rebounds and Trevor Lucas led the passing with five "dimes". Come out and root on the Purple and White this Friday night at home in the Varsity Fieldhouse versus HCC foe McCutcheon.
