Boys' Hoops Downs County Rival Plainfield

Boys' Hoops Downs County Rival Plainfield

The varsity boys' basketball team continued its winning ways of late Tuesday night travelling to Plainfield and prevailing over the host 62-54. Brownsburg's stingy man-to-man defense held the Quakers to just six second quarter points allowing the Dogs (8-9) to build an eleven point lead by halftime. This was a total team effort with nine guys scoring and everyone contributing. K.J. Walton led the team with 19 points, Trevor Lucas added 11 and Kyle Thompson and Martell Pope adding eight each. Point guard Gerald Harney cleaned the glass with eight boards and had six assist including one sweet alley-oop to K.J. for a third quarter slam! The purple and white have now won four straight and are building great momentum for the upcoming state tourney. Don't miss the excitement Friday night as our boys take on the Broncos of Lafayette Jeff.
