Bulldogs Battle Tigers, But Come up Short
The Varsity Boys Basketball team battled at Fishers Friday night to no avail, losing 53-60. The Dogs jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and headed to the locker room up 21-20 at the half. But the Tigers ended the 3rd Quarter with a run - grabbing an eight point advantage going into the fourth. Some full court pressure by our boys closed the gap but the Dogs still came up short. Brownsburg was led by KJ Walton with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Trevor Lucas came off the bench to add 10. Gerald Harney played solid defense on the Tiger's University of Evansville bound point guard and added 9 points. Kyle Thompson took a timely and heroic charge in the 4th Quarter, added 8 points and 3 boards. Xavier Ringo led the team with 5 assists. Come out and support your Dogs this Friday at their home opener against Zionsville.
