Boys' Basketball Wins Over Eagles, Drops to Red Devils

In front of a good crowd at Friday's home opener the Varsity Boys Basketball team clipped the wings of the Zionsville Eagles in OT, 50-46. Trevor Lucas led the team with 22 and Gerald Harney ran the point and added 14. Tyler Houston played stellar defense on Zionsville's playmaker, Dakich, while hitting a key three and a FT in the extra period to seal the deal.

The Dogs then travelled to #2 ranked Pike Saturday night and gave the Red Devils all they could handle before falling 59-66. Seventeen turnovers doomed the Dogs' valiant effort. Once again Lucas led the team with 17 points and KJ Walton came off the bench to add 16. Harney hit 3 of 5 from long range for 9 points while Kyle Thompson added 9 more and led the team with 8 rebounds. Clearly Brownsburg Basketball is back!
