Boys' Basketball Grabs Two Wins over the Weekend

Our Varsity Boys Basketball team took to the road Friday night visiting HCC foe Westfield and did not disappoint the Purple Nation winning easily, 50-36. The Dogs used multiple defenses to keep the Shamrocks off balance, took the lead in the second quarter and applied pressure in the fourth. Trevor Lucas led Brownsburg with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Kenneth Walton added 10.

 

The Crawfordsville Athenians visited the Varsity Fieldhouse Saturday night and jumped out to a quick six point lead. Coach Nored did not hesitate to insert Brownsburg's entire second unit and they responded with a 13-0 run to end the first quarter, a 13 point halftime lead and a commanding 68-35 victory. The Purple and White were led on the scoreboard and the backboard by Jimmy Mescall with 17 points (five 3-pointers) and 7 rebounds. Zach Miller and Martell Pope were also critical to the W each adding 10 points. Come out and support our boys this Thursday as they face the Harrison Raiders.
