Girls' XC Continues Improving

The Girls' Cross Country team continued to show the improvement they've been working toward all summer as they once again put up their best times ever Saturday at the Noblesville Hokum Karem. Senior Cassidy Brown and Freshman Sydni Montgomery both dipped down to 5:53 for their opening miles and didn't drop much from that pace for their final 2. Julia Popenfoose and Brooke U'Ren teamed up with them to medal in places 10 and 13 out of over 50 pairs. Freshman Jessica Morris also put up her best mile splits so far this season and looks primed for some great 5k times beginning this week.

In the reserve race Freshman Emily Truax lead the way for the Bulldogs finishing 10th place overall followed closely by her classmate Kierstyn U'Ren in 13th. Diana Medlen, Alli Kent, Jennifer Bowles, and Caroline Johnson also put in their best race of the young season so far.
