The girls' cross country team ran one of their better races of the season at the Conference Meet Saturday morning against several of the State's best runners and teams. Earning all conference recognition with top 20 finishes were Julia Popenfoose in 13th with a near best time of 19:18 and Cassidy Brown in 16th, also with a near best time of 19:38. Freshman Sydni Montgomery continued her strong season coming in at 20:14 followed closely by Brooke U'Ren, who had the best race of her career as she flew through the course in a time of 20:30. Sophomore Olivia Zoog rounded out the scoring as the 5th runner, followed closely by Laura Sanders and Rachel Graham. The Bulldogs finished in 6th place overall and are now on their way to post-season action with Sectional this Saturday. Best of luck to all of the girls and congrats on a great season so far.

The boys' cross-country team ran to a sixth place finish in Saturday's Hoosier Crossroads Conference meet, edging #18 state ranked Noblesville by 1 point. Hari Sathyamurthy finished a team-high 4th place overall in possibly his strongest race of the year yet.  Mark Bond, in his first race of the season, ran an incredible time of 16:28 over 3.1 miles to be the number two Bulldog across the line, and Seth Webster ran a great race to break 17 minutes for the first time! Marcus Fierek, Devin Boone, Brandon Britton, & Noah Gossett also turned in excellent races on the cold, blustery day.
