Girls' XC Competes at Semi-State

The girls' cross country team accomplished a major goal on Saturday by competing at the Carmel Semi-State and wrapping up a successful season by placing 16^th out of 20 of some of the best teams in the state. Finishing in the top spot for the Bulldogs once again was Junior Julia Popenfoose in 20:00. Cassidy Brown came through just 14 seconds later with an impressive finish of her own. Sophomore Allison Hering, Junior Alex Smock, and Freshman Brianna Channon filled out the top 5 spots with a solid race in their first trip to the Semi-State. Rachel Graham and Mackenzie Vondersaar  finished strong and passed several girls on their way through the finish in the 6^th and 7^thspots. Great job to all of the girls on a good race and an impressive season!
