Bulldogs Win Jon Mitchell Invite

The Girls Cross Country team had a winning weekend at the Jon Mitchell Invitational at Cascade on Saturday morning. Out of 14 total teams the Dogs brought home the championship trophy as they put in a dominant performance from start to finish. The duo of Julia Popenfoose and Cassidy brown set the pace early and never let up, finishing 1^st and 2^nd out of 57 total runners in time of 19:50 and 19:54, setting the 6^th and 7^th best performances in the history of the girls program! Just two places behind in 5^th place was Sophomore Allison Hering at 20:36 followed immediately by Sophomore Mackenzie Vondersaar looking very strong at 21:00. Alex Smock, Rachel Graham, and Brianna Channon rounded out the group by crushing their personal best times and sealing the championship! Congratulations girls!
