Girls' Cross Country Competes at Plainfield
The Girls' Cross Country team ran into some tough competition on Saturday at the Plainfield Hokum Karem placing 9th out of 15 total teams. Junior Cassidy Brown put together her best Hokum performance as she averaged just a little over 6:00 per mile while teaming with her partner Julia Popenfoose to finish in 13th out of the 75 pairs competing in the race. Mackenzie Vondersaar was back on her game as she put together her best miles of the season while her partner Alex Smock did a nice job stepping in at the last minute to fill in for a sick teammate. Laura Sanders took off fast and was the first Bulldog across the line in the JV race, followed closely by Caroline Johnson, Mallory Caron, and Ashley Sears
