Girls' XC Places 7th

In a field loaded with State powerhouse cross country teams the Brownsburg Girls brought home 7^th place at this year's Noblesville Hokum Karem. Teaming with partners for the last time this season the girls put up some of their best races so far. Cassidy Brown and Julia Popenfoose took top honors placing 10^th overall out of 45 total pairs and bested last year's result by a full 10 spots! Allison Hering and Mackenzie Vondersaar also put together impressive mile splits and paced their teams to solid finishes. The JV squad put together their most impressive run of the young season as a pack of Bulldogs stuck together and all improved on their previous times. Sophomore Alli Kent set the pace with a 2 mile time of 14:34 and was followed closely by a strong group including Laura Sanders, Caroline Johnson, Heidi Mitchener, and Samantha Jarboe. Nice work by all the girls and best of luck as the team heads into their first 5k race on Saturday!
