Softball Wins Sectional Game 1 Over the Braves

Last night, the Bulldogs defeated Terre Haute South in a 5-0 shutout in the first round of sectionals. The Bulldogs bats were hot combining a total of 13 hits as a team. Sophie Bosket led the Dogs with 3 hits for the night and scoring 1 run. Maicey Bedrick and Rachel Young both had 2 hits and an RBI for Brownsburg. Other Bulldogs who were hot at the plate were Mackenzie Bedrick and Marah Wood.

            On the mound for Brownsburg was freshman, Kelsey Endress. She allowed only 3 hits from Terre Haute South and struck out a career high of 13 batters in 7 innings.  The Bulldogs are back in action tonight against Terre Haute North for the second round of sectionals at Mooresville.
