Bulldogs Win in Walk-Off Fashion

Last night the Bulldogs started their season off with a home opener and conference play game against the HSE tigers. The Bulldogs had an amazing 6-5 victory over the tigers with a 2 run walk-off homer in the 7th inning from Junior Marah Wood. Wood was 2-4 at the plate for the evening producing 2 runs. Mackenzie Bedrick was also 2-4 and scored 3 of the 6 runs for Brownsburg. Seniors Anna Carroll and Sydney Rodegheir had big time hits for Brownsburg as well, both going 2-3 at the plate. 

Freshman, Kaylee Larkin earned her first win of the season and her high school career gaining the victory over conference opponent HSE. She pitched a complete game giving up 5 runs and only one walk. 

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Thursday evening with their first road game against the Cathedral Irish. Go Bulldogs!
