2nd Ranked Millers Too Much for Bulldogs
Thursday night the varsity softball team lost 2-9 to second ranked Noblesville. Despite the Millers' offensive prowess, the Dogs put up a good fight, playing their best combined offense and defense of the season. The girls reached base in six of seven innings, and they pushed two runs across early. One run came on a line-drive homerun by Kirsten Bartlett, and another when Chelsea Conover followed up Krystal Shirrell's base hit with one of her own for an RBI. Kayle Comer was impressive on offense as well, staying hot at the plate with two hits.
