Bulldogs Notch HCC Softball Victory

Tuesday night, the varsity softball team got a nice conference win over Harrison, 6-4.  The girls continued to come up with big hits at the right times and string together good at-bats, including a Kayle Comer shot to right-center for a triple that also gave the Dogs the go-ahead run in the fifth.  Chelsea Conover and Tori Martin were forces to be reckoned with on the bases all night with two runs and a steal apiece. Kirsten Bartlett, Sarah Callis, and Kelsey Case each had two hits to help the cause.  Rachel Fiscus pitched well to hold the lead and close out the game.  It was a total team effort, with every girl stepping up to contribute to the win. 

Please come out to the diamonds tonight at 5:30 to support the Lady Bulldogs as they play to Strike Out Cancer in another important conference game against Fishers.
