By Caroline Crosby

In the Bulldogs final regular season meet of the year, both teams swept Crawfordsville. The girls won with a score of 128-53 and the boys won 143-38.

It was a big night for many of the seniors. Murphi Crawford had her season best time and a first place finish in the 100 breast. Margie Miller picked up wins in both the 200 IM and 100 backstroke. Annika Schaekel finished first in the 100 fly, and seniors Leah Kingery and Erin Haycox led their 200 free relay to a win.

The girls finished the season with an 11-8 record before heading into championship competition in a few weeks.

On the boys side, our 200 IM relay team broke a 23-year old pool record at Crawfordsville behind Jake Johnson, Caleb Peschke, JJ Schmidt and Jamie Cameron. Senior Brayden Walters won the 200 IM, and Connor Collier won the 500 freestyle. It was another impressive performance on the diving board from Kale Davidson as he adds another win to his record.

The boys finished an impressive season totalling 17 wins and only two losses as they head into championship season. IHSAA Sectionals will take place in February.

The next meet is the JV Championships which will take place in Avon on Saturday Jan. 22 at 9 AM.
