SWIM/DIVE COMPETE AT WESTFIELD INVITE

Over Thanksgiving break the Brownsburg Swim/Dive teams competed at Westfield against Westfield and Fishers. 

On the boys side, Jake Johnson won the 50-yard free with a time of 21.70. The Bulldogs had multiple swimmers with second place finishes: Caleb Peschke in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:47.50, JJ Schmidt in the 100-yard fly with a time of 52.64, and Max Deater in the 100-yard breast stroke with a time of 1:09.42. In the 200-yard free relay, the Bulldogs finished in first place with a time of 1:27.24 with swimmers; Jake Johnson, Jamie Cameron, Caleb Peschke, and JJ Schmidt. In additon the Bulldogs placed second in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:37.67. 

The boys Swim and Dive team is currently ranked #9 in the IHSSCA Coaches Poll. 

The Brownsburg girls took home a third place finish in the 200-yard free relay with a time of 1:45.69 behind Ellie Nolte, Marie Kingery, Erin Haycox, and Margie Miller. Their next meet is Dec. 2 at 6PM vs North Central at home.
