Big Day for Jake Johnson and swim/dive at the HCC CHampionships

The HCC Championships for both swim and dive teams took place over a two-day period at Fishers High School. 

In the 1-meter dive, Kale Davidson took fourth place for the Bulldogs with a score of 389.05.

The girls swim team finished in fifth place with 180 total team points. They were originally predicted to finish in eighth place with 121 points. It was overall a great meet for both teams. 

On the boys side, they finished in thrid place with 357 total team points. It was a big day for Jake Johnson. Johnson won the 50-yard free with a time of 21.37. He later set his own school record in the 100-yard breast with a time of 56.97 and a first place finish. Caleb Peschke was runner-up for the Bulldogs in the 200-yard free. The Dogs were also champs in the 200-yard free relay with a total time of 1:26.22. The relay consisted of swimmers; Jake Johnson, JJ Schmidt, Jamie Cameron and Caleb Peschke

Both boys and girls swim/dive teams return to action Jan. 11 at 6 PM at the Bulldog Aquatic Center.
