Boys swim ranked #7 after win against Plainfield

It was an electric night at the Bulldog Aquatic Center for the Bulldogs second to last home meet of the season. The Dogs just came off competing in the HCC Championships. 

On the girls side, Annika Schaekel took first place in the 100-free. Erin Haycox won the 100-fly in a dramatic finish at the line, winning by .04 seconds. Baylei Crawford, a sophomore, had two best times in both the 200-free and the 100-free. The girls finished with a final team score of 74. 

The boys finished with another win this season improving their record to 14-2 overall. They would defeat Plainfield with a score of 131-55. The boys are now currently ranked #7 in the state.

Brayden Walters and Jamie Cameron both finsihed with a season bests and wins in both the 200-free and the 200-IM. Freshman Gavin Barnes also finished with a best time and a win in the 100-fly. It was a night of bests as Luke Grimes had four lifetime best swims. 

Both teams compete again Saturday Jan. 15 at 9 AM at home. This meet against Noblesville will also be Senior Recognition day.
