Bulldogs Fall to Southport

Saturday Brownsburg travelled to Southport for a game pitting two top ten ranked teams in Indiana.  Southport came out an took a quick 16-2 lead.  The Bulldogs battled and had opportunities to get the game within 5 to 7 points in the fourth quarter but eventually fell to the Cardinals 54-39.  The Bulldogs were lead in scoring by Darrian Ringo who scored 16 points.  Jordache Mavunga chipped in 13 points and a team high 5 rebounds.  Michael Fowlkes lead the bulldogs with 2 assists.  It was a good weekend for the Bulldogs splitting with 2 ranked teams and learning a lot about ourselves.  The team played 7 very quality quarters and competed at a high level against two of the best teams in the Indianapolis area.  The Bulldogs will be back in action Friday at home against Warren Central
