Brownsburg Downs Danville

The Bulldog boys and girls swimming & diving teamsgot back in the win column Thursday night, picking up victories over the host Danville Warriors. The boys got their first win of the season by a 99-87 score, while the girls registered their fourth dual meet victory of the season with a 101-79 win.

Sophomore Grace Fulwider was a triple winner for the girls, placing first individually in the 200 I.M. and 100 Breaststroke and teaming with senior Elizabeth Ancel, junior Erin Miller and freshman Kierra Watson to win the 200 Freestyle Relay.Erin Miller was a double winner on the evening, leading a 1-2-3 sweep of the 500 Freestyle with freshman Brianna LaPaugh and sophomore Anna Miller in addition to her relay victory.Junior Madeline Ketchem picked up a first place in the 100 Backstroke, teaming with sophomore Tia Scoggan for a 1-2 sweep of the event.

Senior Joe Perkins, sophomore Grant Anspach and freshman Joe Ancel were all double winners for the Bulldogs. Perkins won the 50 Freestyle, Anspach won the 200 Freestyle and Ancel won the 100 Butterfly. The trio teamed with sophomore Jared Krug to win the 200 Freestyle Relay. 
Seniors Brian Collins (500 Freestyle) and Joel Paquin (200 I.M.) and freshman Diego LaTorre (100 Breaststroke) also registered first place finishes on the evening.
 

Additionally, the Bulldog divers turned a great night on the boards, with freshman Brooke Jaco picking up her first career win for the girls, and junior Grason Horvath winning for the second time this week for the boys.The Bulldog girls (4-2) and boys (1-2) return to action on Saturday, December 17 at the Hendricks County Invitational at Plainfield High School. Diving prelims begin at 8 a.m., with swimming and diving finals beginning at 12:30 p.m.
