Orioles are too Much for Bulldogs

The Bulldog Boys & Girls dropped a pair of decisions last night to the Avon Orioles at the Bulldog Aquatic Center. The Bulldog Girls fell to 3-2 on the season with a 129-54 loss to Avon, while the boys fell to 0-2 with a hard fought 76-110 loss to the Orioles.

Junior Maddie Ketchem led the way for the Bulldog Girls with a first place finish in the 100 Butterfly. Ketchem teamed with junior Erin Miller, sophomore Madde Jordan and freshman Kierra Watson to finish second in the 200 Medley Relay, and teamed with Miller, senior Liz Ancel and sophomore Chloe Wittig to finish second in the 400 Freestyle Relay.

Senior Joel Paquin led the charge for the Bulldog Boys, winning the 500 Freestyle in dominating fashion with freshman Joe Ancel finishing 2nd. Ancel finished second in the 200 IM while Paquin finished second in the 200 Freestyle.

The Bulldog Divers registered in impressive finish, too, with junior Grason Horvath winning and junior Will Berryman finishing third overall.

The Bulldog Boys & Girls Swimming & Diving Teams return to action on Thursday, December 8, traveling to Danville to take on the Warriors at 5:30 p.m.
