Baseball Drops Game to McCutcheon

Baseball Drops Game to McCutcheon

The boys' varsity baseball team dropped a conference game to the McCutcheon Mavericks last night by the score of 8-2. Tyler Houston got his first start back from injury and started the game by pitching three no-hit innings before having to be removed. In the fourth inning, the Mavericks were able to put four runs up on the Bulldog bullpen and they were able to match that effort in the fifth. The Bulldogs were able to sneak a few runs across on a Tyler Houston home run and an RBI single by Mike Hartnagel that scored senior Kyle Yeager. The Bulldogs have a busy week, they will travel back to Lafayette to play Harrison tonight and host Harrison and Plainfield on Thursday and Friday. The Dogs are now 10-8 on the season.
