Orioloes Best Bulldogs

The Brownsburg varsity baseball team dropped the second game of their conference matchup to the Avon Orioles last night by a score of 8-4. Sophomore Caleb Sampen threw four and two- thirds innings and kept the Bulldogs close, but a few timely hits by the Orioles opened the score up to 7-2. Junior Trent Kabrich finished the game on the hill throwing 1one and one-third innings. Offensively, the bats were a little quiet for the Dogs. After falling behind four runs early in the game, the Dogs were able to fight back to score two in the third inning, and had the bases loaded in the top of the seventh only to score two runs. Senior Mike Hartnagel was 2-4 on the night. The Bulldogs fall to 9-6 on the season and 4-5 in the HCC.
