Bulldogs Post Win Over Noblesville

The varsity baseball team had an exciting victory over HCC opponent Noblesville last night to split the series on the week.  The Bulldogs edged out to a 1-0 lead in the 3^rd inning on a Tyler Houston RBI double that scored sophomore Caleb Sampen.  The Dogs pushed the lead to 3-0 in the top of the 6^th on back-to-back RBI hits by Hunter Leum and Kyle Yeager that scored Haden Shipman and Leum.  Junior Ty McCoy started the game on the hill and kept the Millers scoreless through 5 innings.  In the bottom of the sixth the Millers were able to sneak in two runs on McCoy before senior closer Haden Shipman was able to come in and retire the next 3 batters.  Shipman was able to close out the seventh and record his first save of the season.  Junior LHP Ty McCoy moves to 2-1 on the season and the Bulldogs move to 4-3 and 1-2 in the HCC
