Baseball Cruzes to a Victory over North Central
The varsity baseball team started their week off with a big 9-1 victory over North Central last night. The Bulldogs got hot at the plate early with a 2nd inning 2-Run home run by junior Tyler Houston that capped a 4 run inning. In the 3rd, junior Sam Comer matched the effort with a solo home run of his own (his first of the season). Those two home runs were the highlights of a 12 hit performance by the Bulldogs. Comer, senior Garrett Isch and senior Hunter Leum all had multi-hit games. On the mound, senior Dalton Carter collected his 2nd win of the season by going 5 inning and only allowing 1 run on 4 hits. Sophomore Michael Klayer made his varsity debut in the 6th and 7th inning and shut down the North Central Panthers to close out the game. The Bulldogs move to 6-4 on the season
