Sathyamurthy Earns All-State Honors

Congratulations to Hari Sathyamurthy, who battled the wind and hills in Terre Haute Saturday afternoon to run to an 18th place finish out of 208 state finalists. Hari not only had an outstanding finish, but he was a top 20 medalist, earned "All-State" honors, and bettered his all-time personal record by 5 seconds! His finishing time of 15:45 over the challenging 3.1 mile course came out to 5 minutes and 4 seconds per mile and also moved him into second place on the all-time fastest Bulldog list, second only to Scott Vicenzi, who placed third at state in 2009.

The rest of the cross-country team turned out in force to support its top runner at the State Finals.  It paid off, as the medallion around Hari's neck can attest.  Great race and season, Hari!
