Girls' Cross Country takes 2nd Place at Hendricks County Meet

Laura Bess and the Lady Bulldogs cross-country team each had runner-up performances, both running great races but just falling short of individual and team champion Avon. Laura's time, however, was good enough to set a new Brownsburg school record by one second over 2011 graduate Madelyn Webster. Sydney Lesko, Julia Popenfoose, Cassidy Brown, and Jill Zimmerman rounded out the Dog's scoring for the meet. The latter three, all freshmen, showed outstanding poise by running their best times of the year in the big meet.
