Girls Cross Country Places 7th at Plainfield Relays

The boys' and girls' cross-country teams opened the season Saturday at the Plainfield Relays. Both teams came home with 7th place finishes out of 16 teams; not bad finishes given the fact that both teams were without two of their top runners. Leading the way for the Bulldog attack on the girls' side was the team of Sydney Lesko and Laura Bess with a runner-up finish out of 61 pairs. In the boys' race the duo of Ben Hendricks and Wyatt Rondot ran to 5th place out of 71 pairs to lead Brownsburg. Others turning in great performances were Justin Hays, Jack Reed, Julia Popenfoose, Madison Lesko, Cassidy Brown, and Marisa Lozano.
