Bulldogs Place 2nd at HCC

At home on Saturday, the #19 Bulldogs finished second in the HCC Tournament to #6 Avon.  The 'Dogs put in a great day of work in spite of the chilly conditions and kept ahead of #21 HSE and #22 Zionsville.  Senior Morgan Bettner was conference champion at the number two singles spot and was named All-HCC.  Hailey Blood finished third at the three singles spot.  Number one doubles teammates, Caitlin Preda and Payton Haygood, finished second and also were named All-HCC.  Kristina Petrovic and Lily House finished third at number two doubles.  The Varsity will travel to Perry Meridian on Monday for their last regular season match.  Sectional play begins Wednesday at Avon.
