#2 Panthers Defeat Bulldogs

The Girls' Varsity Tennis Team lost on Tuesday at North Central 3-2.  The Bulldogs battled the #2 squad with tremendous energy and determination.   Kara Mehringer did a fine job against one of the state's top-ranked singles' players, but could not overpower her.  Morgan Bettner and Hailey Blood won in solid straight set fashion and claimed 2 points for the 'Dogs..  Both doubles' teams of Preda/Haygood and Petrovic/Blood showcased some brilliant doubles' play in spite of losses on their courts.
