Boys Track Fares Well at Noblesville Relays

The Bulldog boys' track squad competed in the Noblesville Relays last evening and turned in some outstanding individual performances. The top two individuals' marks were combined in each event to determine a winner, and the Dogs claimed two victories and one runner-up out of the five field events in an invitational that included some of the top teams in the state.  Dillon Easley and Kirk Darling vaulted to first place in the pole vault, with Easley clearing a personal best,15 feet, one of the best marks in the state this year.  Todd Nibbs and Jeremy Shupperd claimed first in the high jump competition, and Blakelynn Green and Taylor Hemmert leapt to a runner-up finish in the long jump.  The Bulldogs had some other great finishes as well, led by the third-place finish of the 4 x 800 m relay team of Purdy, Shaw, Rondot, and Maloney, who ran a season best time of eight minutes and eight seconds.
