Lebanon and Speedway fall to the Boys Track Team

The boys' track team hosted Lebanon and Speedway yesterday, with the Bulldogs taking first place as a team. The Dogs opened up the meet with a convincing win in the 4x800 relay with a time of 8:54 by the team of LaPerle, Rondot, Bowles and Purdy. Later, the Dogs won the 4x100 with a time of 45.21 by the team of Bandstra, Massingale, Green and Torrey Nibbs. The 4x400 team of Maloney, Green, Darling and Torrey Nibbs also cruised to victory in 4:54.5.  In the long jump, taking first with a mark of 19' 8", was Green. In the pole vault taking first and clearing 13'6' was Easley, and taking second and clearing 12'6" was Darling. In the high jump, clearing 5'10" and taking first, was Shupperd. Hendricks was a double winner in the 1600 and 3200 with times of 4:51.8 and 10:49.8. Placing first in the 800 was Rondot with a time of 2:08, and Maloney crossed the line second with a time of 2:11. Torrey Nibbs won the 200m dash with a time of 24.03, and coming in second was Bandstra with a time of 24:06. Steinbaker was a double winner in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles with times of 15.65 and 41.7. Placing second in the 110 hurdles was Shupperd with a time of 16.65.
