Boys Track Opens Season Against Westfield

The boys' track team opened the outdoor season yesterday at Westfield High School.  The meet was canceled with three events remaining, but the Bulldogs had many outstanding performances along the way.  Blakelynn Green continued to leap over 20 feet by placing first in the long jump.  Dillon Easley keeps going higher and higher in the pole vault, placing first at 14'6", along with Kyle Steinbaker's victory in the 300 m hurdles.  Latrelle Bandstra sprinted to victory in the 100 m dash, as did the 4 x 100 m relay team of Bandstra, Easley, Green, and Evan Anders.  The last Bulldog victory came in the 400 meter dash, with Matt Phillips winning in impressive fashion.
